Heat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 20x35 tray with butter.
In a bowl mix flour, semolina, baking powder and turmeric
Separately mix eggs with sugar, adding milk, melted butter, orange water and jam.
Add a little of the milk mixture to the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix until you get a uniform composition. Pour into the pan, level and sprinkle almond flakes on top.
We put the cake in the oven and after about 35-40 minutes it will be nicely browned on top, and the toothpick should come out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. Grease with apricot jam, portion and serve cold.
