A chocolate artist spent hours crafting this edible (and adorable) 3-D replica of the character from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

I…am…cute! (But also tasty.)

Forget talking raccoons and Chris Pratt’s witty (and muscular) character….the most exciting part about the release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the return of the adorable baby Groot.

The U.K.-based chocolatier Laura Miller of Sugar Spice Cakes created a 3-D chocolate rendering of baby Groot in all of his wide-eyed, anthropomorphic-plant glory.

As you can see in this time lapse video, chocolate baby Groot may be even cuter than his computer- animated counterpart on the big screen. The six-and-a-half-pound sculpture took seven hours to create and is made entirely out of white and milk molding chocolate. Appropriately, the soundtrack of the two-minute video is “Hooked on a Feeling,” one of the most famous songs featured in the original Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.

This cute Groot even caught the attention of Guardians’ director, James Gunn:

Miller’s other true-to-life chocolate creations include a 3-D chocolate “Salt Bae,” a The Nightmare Before Christmas rendering, and an edible old-school Joker and Harley Quinn.

With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hitting theaters in just over a month, Laura Miller, who owns the U.K.-based Sugar Spice Cakes and who has previously created other incredible sculptures, like the Joker and Harley Quinn and the Salt Bae meme , created a life-like and incredibly detailed chocolate baby Groot .

The sculpture weighs about 3kg (6.6lbs) and is made of milk and white chocolate. Miller condenses the seven-hour project into a two-minute time-lapse video as Blue Suede’s “Hooked on a Feeling” plays in the background, the perfect soundtrack.

She later shared a sped-up version of the video with Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who posted it for his followers.

While Baby Groot looks great in video form, it’ll soon be possible to have it in your own home. A 45-minute tutorial on how to make your own chocolate Baby Groot is available for preorder through Vimeo. A 24-hour rental will cost $11 or you can purchase it for $25. The tutorial will be released April 18, so you’ll have time to prep for a Guardians of the Galaxy party—or more than enough time to perfect it for Easter next year.

This chocolate Baby Groot sculpture is almost too cute to eat
